Coming Soon: Last Home Bout of the Year!

Dust off your cowboy boots and bust out your gingham and plaid for "Amber Waves of Pain." Our 2010 home season will go out with a bang on August 14, when we'll battle for not one, but two, victories. At 6 p.m., our new derby debutantes will play a short bout against the Jack Town Rollers (Jackson, Mich.). Then at 7 p.m., a full-length bout will pit the Socialites against the Fox City Foxz (Appleton, Wisc.). Halftime entertainment will feature the musical stylings of local rockers The Odyssey Favor. The Upland Brewing Company of Bloomington, Ind., will have beer for sale. And the evening will end, as always, with a slammin' after-party at Claude & Annie's.

Tickets for the August 14 bout are $10 in advance, $12 at the door, with kids age 6 and under admitted free. (A portion of the evening's ticket proceeds will benefit the Indianapolis nonprofit Teachers’ Treasures, which provides school supplies for low-income children. )
