Torn fishnets and pearls are the unofficial dress code for "Black Eye Affair," our first home bout of the season. We'll take on the Derby City Roller Girls of Louisville, KY, in a bruisin' affair to remember.
The double-header bout will kick off with a 6 p.m. bout featuring our new brother league, the Race City Rebels -- one of about a dozen all-male roller derby leagues in the U.S. -- against the Magic City Misfits of Orlando, FL.
At 7:30 p.m., we'll take the floor against Derby City.
Halftime act by Riolo Dance ballroom dancers. If you're so inclined, dress in derby formal for this Black Eye Affair!
Advance tickets are on sale now through www.brownpapertickets.com.
A coin drive, along with a portion of the evening's ticket proceeds, will help the National Kidney Foundation of Indiana compete in the 2010 U.S. Transplant Games.
Doors open at 5 p.m. See you on the rink!
