How I got started skating: One of my coworkers in Savannah joined, and I immediately jumped her for info and then ordered skates and gear (shout out to Rae Gunn and the Rockford Rage!).
Hometown: Evansville, Indiana
Trademarks: Squeaky voice, Often seen eating large amounts of sugary goodness in one sitting.
Pre-bout rituals: Duct-taping myself mercilessly into my pads, Visualizing myself slicing through the pack like buttah and butt-blocking the buttah out of the opposing jammer.
Books: Anything by Tom Robbins, Terry Pratchett, David Foster Wallace, and Tad Williams to name just a few. Ask me what I'm currently reading and you might wish you hadn't.
Movies: Amelie, Waking Life, Miyazaki films.
Best thing about roller derby: The great things that happen when a group of talented women and men put their souls into something to make the world a better, more derbylicious place.
Why I call myself a roller girl: I think I was born a roller girl, I just hadn't been given the tools yet.
Favorite tattoo: I only have one, and it will be getting overhauled soon.
Guilty pleasures: Chocolate anything, Staying up late and getting up early, Ethiopian food
Drink of choice: Non-alcoholic-Sweet Tea Alcoholic-Top-Shelf Margarita with Souza tequila and Gran Marnier.
